Women's antique tribal anklet, hollow construction, made in a round rigid style with a hinged opening. Very high grade silver, with repeating decoration around all sides and a decorative hinge. From Rajasthan, India. Late 19th century or older.

The hinge is set with green glass "gemstones", of which only 2 remain.

Measurements: Inside circumference 22 cm, outside circumference 33 cm, silver tube dimensions are 2 x 1.5 cm

This anklet can easily be worn as a bracelet, either around the wrist or on the upper arm. A very wearable piece of tribal jewellery.
